for those about to rock

This week we attended a recital that a couple of our friends (DK) were singing in, and they both did an excellent job. So last night, as my ears were ringing from the deafening sounds of the Nightmare Before Xmas concert, I started thinking... what would it be like if these lead singers would take voice lessons? While I understand that a lot of music features at least one band member screaming into a microphone, it wouldn't hurt if that screaming were fine tuned a little bit.

Having said that, I was really proud of our friends, Spencer and Brent. Spencer plays the guitar and Brent plays the bass for a band called The Market. They did a great job last night as they shared the stage with Hoobastank (a band I've actually heard of)!
