I know that some guys out there (I won't mention any names... Spekner) really hate it when girls want them to open doors and be gentleman. However, I think it is sweet. I'm not saying that I want every door opened for me, but it is nice to have it done every once in a while. For example, when I was getting into our car this morning Luis came around to my side to open my door for me. This isn't anything new for me. He does it all the time (not every time we get in the car but pretty often) and yet it struck me this morning how sweet it was for him to do that. He totally didn't have to and it wasn't like I was hinting at it in any way, but he did it anyway. Another thing that I love is that he will always hold the door open for people. There was one time that I was walking through a door with someone from school and her husband held the door open for her and then walked through the door before I walked through and I just thought that was sooo rude. I had grown so accustomed to Luis opening the door for whomever walks in the door with us (sometimes he gets stuck holding the door for a dozen people), that I just assumed that was what all men do. But apparently it is not. But they should.
