There are days when teaching the primary kids just breaks my heart. What do you tell an eleven-year-old when a lesson in church is about families and she raises her hand to say that two of her grandparents are dead and the other two hate her? (And you know she is probably not exaggerating).

Lets be honest, animals don’t talk to me and although I try and try again, my bedroom does not clean itself up with the snap of a finger. So I obviously don’t live a fairy tale life. However, I am living the life I’ve always wanted to live and having a blast doing so.
