double digits

My little brother is 22 today. And the strange thing is, that we actually talked on the phone for about 20 minutes today. He isn't much of a talker (at least not with me) so I was so surprised that he didn't just try to get off the phone as quickly as possible. I wish I could have gone to Hawaii to make him a special birthday cake. But alas, it is just not possible to be around for every special occasion when you live so far away. Who knows, maybe one of these days he'll decide to live closer to me and I'll be able to go see him for the weekend on his birthdays.
