While Luis was working, I had fun babysitting my niece...
We tried setting up everything on the kitchen table, but the kitchen table was too high for Hannah, so we moved the action to the floorTo start off, we frosted the cupcakes
Then we separated the gummy worms by their colors and gave each cupcake some spider legs
Then we separated the M&Ms (Hannah did this step mostly by herself)
Then we gave our spiders some eyes
And Ta-DA! Spider cupcakes (which look more like crabs than spiders, but I didn't want to have to buy new frosting and it's almost Halloween so we'll just pretend)
After we ate cupcakes, Hannah watched Elmo's World on Luis' big computer
And when we got sick of watching TV, we played Wii together :)
All in all, we had a really fun night together. I'm really impressed with how much Hannah is growing up and how much she is talking. I had accidentally spilled some frosting on the floor and she quickly said,"Don't worry, I'll clean it up." So she got up and went to get a rag from the counter so that she could wipe up the spill. When we were finished, we still had a few left-over candies so I just folded the place mats over so that I could pick up all of the candy and move them to the counter. Hannah noticed that there was a stray M&M on the floor so she picked up the M&M, put it on another place mat and folded the place mat so that she could put it on the counter too just like I had done.
