Luis thinks that "catch-up sleep" is a myth... something that people believe in, but isn't actually true. I think he is wrong. I whole-heartedly believe that when people don't get enough sleep, they have to have at least one night to catch-up on their rest. I am one of these people. I took a 2-3 hour nap on Sunday afternoon (I don't know exactly how long it was because I don't know what time I fell asleep). So on Sunday night I didn't end up going to sleep until 2:00 am... which is a problem since I needed to be at work at 8:00 am yesterday. So I ended up getting about 5 hours of sleep... no biggie right? (Oh how I wish I weren't getting old... I remember the good old days... back in high school... when I could stay up all night and have no problems the next day).

exhaustion
So when 10:00 hit last night, it was time for me to go to bed. I don't even remember my head hitting the pillow. When my alarm clock rang this morning at 7:00, I wished I had a gun next to my bed so that I could shoot the stupid, annoying, loud, obnoxious piece of... plastic and make it stop. But since I don't own a gun (and don't plan on ever getting one), I had to muster up the energy to reach down to the floor (I don't have a bed-side table so my alarm clock sits on the floor) to hit the snooze button... I should have just turned the dumb thing off, but my grogginess didn't allow me to think clearly enough to anticipate the fact that the buzzing would be happening again in 5 minutes. So 5 minutes later, I hit snooze again... and again... and again... until I came to my senses at 7:20 and just reset the alarm for 7:30 (which was the absolute latest I could get up and still make it to work on time). After 9 hours of sleep and 20 minutes of "snoozing" I'm still EXHAUSTED!
