back to school

I go to school so that I can learn new things. And I've only learned one thing during my first day of classes today: I have awful handwriting! I NEVER write anything by hand anymore (thanks to my trusty laptop that has become more like an appendage than merely a tool for homework/testing purposes). Paper? Pens? What are those things? Do they still exist? Who owns those things? In one of my classes this semester, the professor does not allow in-class use of laptops (boo... what is the purpose of building-wide wireless if we aren't going to use it?). Which leaves me with the good old-fashioned pen/paper method for note taking. It is weird. It makes me feel like I'm back in high school or something. I haven't purchased an actual notebook in years! I should go to the store.
