The thing that I find interesting about Jamba Juice is that it is billed as this healthy alternative to fast food, but then they have a "Jamba Light" section on their menu. If the whole purpose of the franchise is to sell healthy drinks, why do they have to have a "light" portion of the menu. Shouldn't it all be good for you? And why do they sell cookies and pretzels? Neither one of those things are particularly good for your health. This, of course, doesn't stop me from occasionally purchasing one of their smoothies (like today when I was really wanting something fruity and all I had in my purse was a Reese's, some saltines and a cup -o-noodle). It is also a much more convenient alternative to making my own smoothie at home because, lets be honest, cleaning a blender is a hassle. Plus I can never figure out how much of each ingredient to use in order to make a single serving, and I end up with a ton of left-overs that just get poured down the drain.
