apology

One of my professors was 10 minutes late for class today. He apologized by saying that he would never keep us after class for longer than a couple of minutes. (How is that an apology?) The professor then took the next 20 minutes of class explaining some brief that he wrote for a high profile case. At the end of class he mentioned how he couldn't understand how it was that we are never able to get through the entire content of the assigned readings and that he would try to get caught up next time. (Hmmm maybe if we would start class on time and spend class time discussing the assignment instead of personal views of how the morals of society are going down the drain, then we might actually be able to learn a subject this semester).
