My ward tried to do something "sweet" and gave all mothers and future mothers big symphony chocolate bars for Mother's Day. Unfortunately "future mothers" included ALL girls (even my 10-11-year-old girls). This left me with one boy screaming his head off during the entire class because he wanted chocolate and thought it wasn't fair that the girls got them. This also meant that his sister just had to have some of her chocolate in class (even though I brought cookies and they were each able to have 3).
